Dead Sea Scrolls at the Royal Ontario Museum - June - October 18th, 2009

Frankie Tomatto's - Italian Buffet - Toronto


We recently visited Frankie Tomatto's for dinner. It's a great family restaurant that serves Italian food buffet style. The food is pretty good and the selection is impressive. My favourite thing there is the fried calamari. They also have pizza, pasta, veal and eggplant parmesan, rice pilaf, baked salmon, smoked ham, potato rosti and mussels. That is just a taste. Lunch at Skyland de Shanghai - Toronto


We had lunch at Skyland de Shanghai in Toronto today. It's Northern Chinese Food...Shanghainese Chinese Food. I thought it was interesting that they had a glass enclosed area where you could watch them make their noodles. Noodles made right before our very eyes. I thought that was the most interesting part of our lunch. I had never had fresh noodles before. They were firm and thick. ...
