Do you believe in signs? I stumbled across a listing of the destinations Danes will be flocking to this winter on vacation, according to local travel agencies. Of course, many Danes will still be travelling wilburys despite the recession.
First choice for these adventurers, are the Canary Islands, 2nd is Egypt and 3rd is Thailand. The Canary Islands are a short distance ...

It's off to the playhouse tonight for some more drama. I've been busy with my role at the theatre, but it's getting eerily close to show time and we don't really know how it's going to "play" out. Some of my fellow castmates have been making us feel better - I mean worse, by relating horror stories ...

Wait! This film is not nearly as dreadful as the critics featured in this video would lead you to believe. I know I've mentioned this numerous times, but one of my favourite movies ever, is the 1994 box office bomb, starring Martin Short, called "Clifford." It's my go to movie, when I'm blue and eager for some light laughs. In my books, this smorgasbord of funny is in the ...

Christmas cheer is already in the air; just smell it, taste it, and feel it creeping out of your wallet. That said, unlike some people, I'm somewhat happy that Christmas is just around the corner. The only aspect that is irritating for myself, is the unpredictable weather, ...

We can't really walk in another person's purple shoes until we've tried them on ourselves. Although, some shoes we'd rather not try on, ever. November is pancreatic cancer awareness month. Unfortunately, there is no cure for pancreatic cancer and it isn't very understood or recognized. If you're like me, who up ...

I'm not sure how you are planning on spending your Halloween. I'll be preluding mine in a related activity, that being a visit to a graveyard. In other words, I'll be attending a funeral. Now, it's not all doom and gloom, as this funeral is for a person who had lived a good long life. She probably lived longer than most people would care to live, once the losses are ...

I have to tell you that I've been really feeling a lot of the smooth as silk, groovy Motown sound lately. This food for the soul is just so laid-back and relaxing. So, that's what I'll be chatting about today. I suggest that if you're not feeling the groove, then you might as well just "float on" by. Now, I'm just kidding, of course.
I just said that because I'm watching ...

I'm trying to shorten up these blogs, so you are probably asking, "Why doesn't she shutup already and just get to the point?" I agree. That said, today's blog has no point, and absolutely nothing to do with Copenhagen, but I know how I can make it relevant, a bit.
I just happened to catch the comedy "Yes Man," from 2008 starring funny-man Jim ...

Oprah Winfrey will be discussing the Danes and their secret to happiness on her Wednesday show. She was in Copenhagen not too long ago trying to secure Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics. At the same time, she thought she'd kill two birds with one stone by interviewing some Danes and finding out what their secret to happiness is. The theory that Danes are the happiest folk-fare in the world ...

I know these blogs are getting to be way too wordy these days, not to mention way off track. It's like reading a dating profile, where the candidate types in reams of text, and half way through it you're saying, " I can't read anymore of this babble. This person is much too chatty for my taste!"
I've vowed to shorten them up, and besides that I'm actively involved in the ...
