Carson City Rendezvous in Carson City

The old days of the pioneers are brought to life during this three-day festival. Displays, performances and exhibitions retell what life was like for the mountain men, soldiers, pioneers and Native Americans who called these lands home during the 19th century. The festival is a popular day out for young and old alike with events and attractions including the Mountain Man Encampment and Traders' Row, Native American Village with traditional dancing and handicrafts, the Civil War Volunteers Encampments with battle skirmish re-enactments, a gunslingers stunt show, a Victorian fashion show, live musical performances and a fiddle contest. Visitors also have the chance to sample foods and drinks typical of that time at the many food stalls in operation over the weekend
