About the Summit Lodge and Spa

The Summit Lodge is a true Whistler gem. Located in the heart of the Village you are close to both fabulous scenery and a host of restaurants and shops. Considered a boutique hotel, you will experience great personal attention and service. Literally steps away from the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, the Summit Lodge is an ideal choice for those eager to hit the slopes. Of course, once the snow melts away, the outdoor adventures continue on. Although it does have a great restaurant right on its premises, the Summit Lodge is a stone’s throw away from a host of great dining establishments. Its outdoor pool and hot tub is another bonus for staying at this wonderful hotel.

The Summit Lodge received a number of positive reviews. The kitchenettes were a huge advantage when in need of a quick breakfast or a late night snack, especially with a grocery store located nearby. The restaurants also received great reviews as did the service and staff friendliness. The free hotel shuttle also saved a lot of energy when heading to or back from the slopes. Summit Lodge and Spa Accommodations

Whether you book a Deluxe or Executive studio or a one-bedroom suite, you’ll love the attention to detail each room has received. Soaker tubs, warm comforters and bathrobes are only the beginning. The kitchenettes help you get a great morning start and the fireplaces allow you to unwind at the end of the day. Plus, the balconies allow you to enjoy the scenery whenever you feel like it.

Save your energy and enjoy the daily shuttle to the Whistler and Blackcomb ski lifts. Enjoy a host of spa treatments at the fantastic Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa. The outdoor pool and hot tub are a huge hit for skiers or you could stretch out those muscles with a hotel yoga kit. The lobby’s massive fireplace is the perfect place to meet up with friends before you head out to the slopes or an evening out on the town. Or, you could have a fantastic dinner at Elements Urban Tapas Parlour, which is known as being one of the best restaurants in Whistler. Sachi Sushi is another great on-site restaurant.

Directions from Vancouver International Airport:
Drive east out of the airport on Grant McConachie Way.
Follow the Hwy 99 North signs over the Arthur Lang Bridge onto Granville Street.
Follow Granville Street north crossing the Granville Street Bridge.
Shift to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit.
Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street.
Turn left onto Georgia Street and go over the Lions Gate Bridge.
Exit the bridge on the Marine Drive West turnoff.
Take the first right onto Taylor Way and turn left onto Highway 1.
Follow the signs to Whistler Hwy 99.
Once you reach the village, turn right onto Village Gate Boulevard.
Take the first left on Northlands Boulevard.
Take the second entrance right into Main Street.
The Summit Lodge and Spa is the second hotel along on the right hand side.

Parking: Yes, there is parking. The underground parking costs around $19 per night. There is also free parking located about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
