Monte Carlo Hotel Guide Cheap Monte Carlo Hotels

Made famous for its casinos, high-end shopping, Formula One Grand Prix races and fantastic hotels, Monte Carlo is where the rich and famous go to play. While most of us would have a hard time scraping up enough funds to enjoy this place for an entire holiday, it is definitely worth visiting, even if only for a few days or hours.

Its harbor is lined with massive yachts and the streets with impressive hotels. The beaches are stunning as well and so it would seem Monte Carlo has something to offer everyone. Simply wandering around town is an adventure as you discover perfectly manicured parks and gardens as well as quaint caf\'8es and bistros.

There are a number of attractions for you to consider. The most popular one is the stunning Monaco Cathedral where the many of the Grimaldis have been buried, including the legendary Grace Kelly. Next to the cathedral lies the Napoleon Museum where you can see an impressive collection of artifacts that once belonged to Napoleon the I. Monte Carlo is also famous for its Prince's Palace, which is the residence to the royalty who call this city home. Its courtyard is often the location for a number of summertime concerts and provides fantastic views of the surrounding areas.

The Grand Casino, Casino de Paris, is a definite crowning jewel for Monte Carlo. Here, the big players strut their stuff while observers hold their breath at the bets being placed. Even if you aren't a gambler though the casino is worth visiting. The architecture and attention to detail is amazing. Or, just walk in front of it and you'll see an impressive array of cars parked out front waiting anxiously for their owners to come out unscathed from the betting tables.

Although Monte Carlo is a playground for the wealthy, the architecture and sites are worth seeing, even if we can't afford to spend our entire holiday there. And if you can afford it, then you know it's worth every penny you've spent.
