The 142-room Courtyard by Marriott Huntsville is close to the U.S. Space Camp and provides quality accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking property has two meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 49 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is located in Huntsville's new high-tech business center and is a short drive from three championship golf courses. Area landmarks and attractions include the Jack Daniel’s Distillery, the Early Works Museum, Point Mallard Water Park and the Van Braun Civic Center.

Many clients say this Courtyard offers great value for money. One visitor said it was hard to find quality accommodation like this for less than $100 – and that it what he found here in Northern Alabama. The employees got top marks for being professional and friendly. There some gripes about the breakfast not being the best. Fortunately, there are plenty of other places to eat. All the guestrooms, and 12 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, refrigerator, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, pullout sofa bed, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and an exercise room. The Courtyard Café is only open for breakfast but there are several restaurants nearby including a Mikato Japanese Steakhouse, the Green Hills Grill and Nothing But Noodles. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, a full service business center, valet dry-cleaning and vending machines.

From Huntsville Airport (HSV) 12 miles: Take exit #340, 565 East to exit #14 Research Park Boulevard North. Follow to Hwy 72 East (University Drive). The hotel will be two miles on the left between Pier 1 and Pizza Hut.
