The pet-friendly 61-room Phoenix Days Inn East Mesa provides renovated accommodation for the budget-minded business traveler and families on vacation. The motel is eight blocks from the Mesa Airport, home of the McDonnell Douglas Apache Helicopter. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens, Golfland Sun Splash Waterpark, HoHoKam Ballpark, Sun Devil Stadium, Chase Field, Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours, the Dolly Steamboat at Canyon Lake and the Mesa Southwest Museum

Complaints about tired looking rooms have stopped now that this Days Inn has been remodeled. Clients liked the new look and said the employees were helpful and efficient and had lots of information about things to do and see in the area. The rooms come with the choice of one king size bed or two double beds. All the room have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, refrigerator, microwave oven, 32-inch LCD television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, radio, alarm clock, hairdryer and IDD telephone.

This inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served but there are numerous restaurants nearby. There include a Red Lobster, PF Chang’s China Bistro, McDonalds, Arby’s, Burger King, Peter Piper Pizza and a Shoney’s. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area attractions and events. From Sky Harbor International Airport: Take Highway 202 East to Highway 101 South towards Mesa. Take Highway 101 South to Highway 60 East, exit at the Higley Road exit off ramp and go north on Higley Rd for five blocks to Main Street. Turn Right on Main Street. The hotel is located a 1/2 block on right side on the street.
