I had read some of the reviews online before I arrived at the hotel and was a little leary. I was surprised when I got there. The rooms were clean and quiet. Real close to the theme parks in the area. The front office service went over and above to help me when I got a flat tire. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others.

We stayed here, to be close to Disneyland. The rooms were sufficient and beds very comfortable. Our junior family room was 1 large room, not the 2 rooms I expected, but did include a microwave and frig. We would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was decent to get us started. They gave us cookies and bottled water when we checked in - nice touch!

The people there were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean. Hotel is within walking distance to Disneyland.

There was a good continental breakfast at 6:30, so we ate before going to Disneyland. It was a 10-15 minute easy walk to Disney, and each day we stopped at the 7-11 on the way and bought Gatorade to take into the park. Our room had a fridge and microwave, and we enjoyed the pool & hot tub in the afternoon. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful and the place was clean. This is not a luxury hotel, but for those who want an inexpensive place to stay near Disneyland, this is a great option. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel staff is accommodating and friendly. Computer & printer in lobby came in handy to print Boarding Passes! It made all the difference at LAX. Halls smell of new carpet. Bed was the best with all cotton linens & NO bed spread!! I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed alone for a conference at the convention center- very walkable distance. Liked the breakfast. Nice Linens. Carpet a bit old.

We were quite impressed with every aspect of this hotel. Breakfast was good and extension, easy walk to the parks, free parking, clean and rooms with up graded linens and the front desk clerk would not accept my tip for getting my bags after storing them all day for free!!!

My family & I enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn Express Maingate. It was close to Disneyland, Markets, Subway, and a Pizza place. The staff was very helpful when we had questions. Our room was cleaned daily. I would stay there again if I planned another vacation to Disneyland.

stayed here for 5 days,had a conference. small rooms and house keeping comes around 5.00 - 6.00 its very upsetting cos come to relax and the room is not cleaned. bed sheets werent changed. pillows and bed not comfortable at all. old bathroom and the pool was green couldnt use for the five days we spent there. would stay somewhere else next time.

The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. It is within 10 minute walking distance of Disneyland and several restaurants. Breakfast worked out great with several choices (cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, fruit, tea, coffee, juice and milk). The pool was smaller than we expected, but we didn't spend much time at the pool.

We definitely liked this hotel. We travel to Disney at least once a year and have stayed at several hotels. This was our favorite so far. Nice staff, good breakfast. Parking was not so great for a SUV, and the elevator was slower than climbing stairs. Would stay again. Great for families.

Comfortable room and clean. The continental breakfast was very good and the staff was constantly keeping it supplied. Only 4 blocks from Disneyland main entrance, so we walked. Lots of families and kids here, maybe not a great choice for a business traveler. We would certainly stay here again.

The bathroom was older and had mold/mildew growing up near the ceiling - made me ill thinking about black mold! Worth the price but there's a HI closer to Disney than this. "Main gate" is a bit deceiving.

The beds are comfortable, the walk to Disneyland easy and close and the complimentary breakfast is good and filling. I knew what we were getting for the room price-- a standard with two queens. The only thing was a small mold problem evidenced in the bathroom ceiling and in a closet.

Room was reasonably good. Beds not the most comfortable. Continental breakfast was surprisingly good with a lot of choices. Can indeed walk to Disneyland from hotel.

Great Stay, however, hotel maids with large carts jammed up the elevators at the same time many guest were trying to get out for the day. Everything else was GREAT!

This is not a premiere hotel by any means, but it is very clean and very well run. The staff is helpful and friendly, the room was quiet and the bed comfortable, and the free continental breakfast is very generous. $3/day shuttle to Disneyland at the Ramada next door.

We were very happy with our traveling experience at this Holiday Inn Express. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the continental breakfast was satisfying, and the accessibility to theme parks, restaurants and shopping was great. The only negative aspect of the motel was the insufficient indoor lighting.

Good Location and Continental Breakfast was great. The two complaints that I have would be 1) that our room was not clean. The linens on the bed had not been changed and the pillow cases were very dirty- This was a little upsetting because after a long day at Disney we were ready to go to bed and to find our beds dirty was disappointing. 2) We were on the 3rd floor and there were not screens on the windows. This really was scary to think of little ones that could fall out of the window. I most likely would not stay here again and would check other options.

The continental breakfast is just awesome! Scads of food and beverages. Not just bread & water. While it is not too far from Disneyland, walking is not the advised mode of transportation. Get a shuttle, bus, or drive & park. At the end of a long day playing at the big D, walking back is the last thing you want to do with tired little ones.

This hotel was great for the price. Great location, great service for families with small children, and clean. The staff was excellent, my husband left his hotel and palm in the hotel and they shipped it to us without incident with all of the contents in place. We were very satisfied.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, orderly, and all amenities functioned properly. Breakfast in the morning was simple and good. Customer service was helpful. I forgot my shaver! Great stay. We would gladly return upon our next trip to Disneyland.

A great hotel, with a wonderful staff! The expanded continental breakfast was filling, with plenty to choose from. We had a one bedroom suite, that had a seperate room with a sofa bed, coffee table, tv, refrigerator and microwave. Only complaint is the sink is in the same area as the shower...it made it a bit hard to get 4 people ready in the morning.

We booked our holiday over the net after reading travelers reviews and they were spot on great location plus freindly staff Gary the day manager was very helpful with travel information and saved us a lot of money and time .We will return !!!!!!!!!!

For a family of 6 (4 teenage children and 2 brave parents) it was great. The rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was great and it was within a comfortable walking distance from Disneyland. Within 3 minutes of the hotel there is also a 7-11, Subway, and a Pizza Place, and a little souveneir market all of which we took advantage of. The only thing I didn't like was that the sink area was combined with tub area so you always had to wait for someone to get out in order to brush your teeth! Oh-tub needs to be regrouted.

Everything turned out happily as expected. The stay was great and myself, my wife and 2 kids were pleased. The hotel was near some restaurants and convenience store which is great if you didn't rent a car.

The staff was extremely accommodating. Friendly and helpfull. Great location!! Just a short walk to the main gates of the parks. Rooms average in size and very clean. Nice sized bathroom plenty of room for more than one to get ready for the day. Would stay here again.

Great hotel for the price and location. Friendly staff, roomy, clean, frig in room, a/c, continental breakfast, kid-friendly. Near Disneyland. Underground parking included in price is a plus.

This hotel was a good spot for our family to collapse after a full day at Disney. It is about a 10-12 minute walk to the parks but we drove so the kids could ride the tram to the park. The family suite was decent but when the couch bed is pulled out there is much room left to move around. The pool is small and is jammed between the hotel, a parking and the next hotel. This hotel is one of a row of hotels on Katella Dr. Overall I think is a good choice for the money if you are looking for a place to lay down after a long day at Disney.

Nice hotel for the price. Location was great for Disneyland, the walk is not bad at all, about fifteen minutes.The room was clean and hotel staff were very helpful. Also liked the fact that there were plenty of towels provided and good showers. Good cable channels and high speed internet hookup too. Would stay here again.

staff was very courteous! we arrived running late for a dinner reservation, the clerk was great in giving us fast, prompt service so that we could be on our way. The room was very clean and the bathroom was quite roomy. Disneyland was within walking distance, but after a long day at the park it seemed longer. The fridge in the room was also quite handy. I would definately recommend this place!

This is nice hotel. The rooms were very clean and it smelled good. The breakfast is great. There is toast, bagels, pastries, cereal and boiled eggs. Although, I was disappointed that waffles were not offered as they were in other hotels I have stayed at. As far as the hotel being close to Disneyland, it is about a 10-15 minute walk. The manager was very nice, he gave my daughter a free bottle of blowing bubbles and gave us tips on attractions at Disneyland. I would definitely stay here again!

I reserved a suite with the thought of having some privacy because there were three children in the group. What we got was a room with two queen beds with a sofa bed & no privacy at all. The hotel called this a family suite. A better term for the accomodations could have avoided the confusion.

We arrived with 5 kids and 2 adults. The room had 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. The bathroom is huge and the room was very clean. The service was top rate. The location is just East of Disneyland. About a 5 minute walk or use free shuttle. A great place tp stay. We will use this hotel again.

Staff was great, breakfast great, pool very nice, room OK. The door to the bathroom did not lock, and we got a family suite but did not realize that meant a regular room with a couch instead of a table on one end so it was quite crowded and no privacy. Definately not the best for a mother with a family. Price was OK. Manager unpleasant about a complaint about party next door to our room.

My overall experience at this hotel was excellent.The entire staff was extremely helpful,professional,and friendly.I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire facility.The hotel location is convenient to all nearby attractions.I would recommend this hotel to others traveling to the Anaheim area.
