Better than anticipated - posted on 01/21/2006

Service, rooms, food, location were all great. Not one thing went wrong. This was a mother and daughters vacation. I would definitely go back.

Great Place - posted on 07/29/2005

There were 7 of us travelling together on this trip & we all agreed that this is a great hotel. It was so nice to walk into it & smell how clean it is. The rooms were so comfortable, especially after long days at Disneyland. It was also very quiet after 10:30 pm. Having a morning paper at everyone's door was a very nice touch. It was also very close to Disneyland. We walked around the corner & through the Disney parkade & caught the tram to the park. We had a great stay at this hotel & will definitely stay again.

Very Clean Hotel - posted on 07/26/2005

My family warned me that this hotel is not as close to the Park as they advertise but now that I've stayed there, that doesn't matter to me. The room was so clean and comfortable. Not too big but all we needed was a place to sleep after a day at the park. We took the Anaheim Resort Transit to the park; only $3 round trip per person, kids 9 and under ride free. Didn't want to walk with the toddler, but this turned out better as it's the closest you can get to the park entrance from a vehicle. And beats the $10 per day parking fee at Disney!

Excellent experience - posted on 05/21/2007

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The main thing we enjoyed was that our room was comfortable and spotless! The staff was very courteous and professional as well. The food in the cafe was great, and we loved that that they have a kids eat free program. They also have a well stocked gift shop/convenience store in the lobby that sells everything including snacks and bottled water at great prices. This was one of the best experiences we've had at a hotel in Anaheim and would definitely stay here again.

Overall the hotel was okay. I was, however, not happy with the bathroom's split design; TOO SMALL!

An excellent Disneyland hotel - posted on 05/16/2007

Excellent value for price, location, and service. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless! Quiet, secluded, and parking was never a problem. We?ve stayed at many hotels in the area, and this was one of the best experiences we've had. Food in the cafe was great and excellent value for the money (kids eat free!). There?s a nicely stocked gift/convenience shop right in the lobby, great for bottled water/snacks and offers Disney souvenirs and even strollers! (Water was 0.99 in the shop, 3.50 in the room.) Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I am a single mom and I would stay here again, the price was great! my daughter was able to see the fireworks at Disneyland every night!. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean! we loved to come back from a long day to relax in the pool. I cant express enough how pleased i was for the price, comfort and the distance from disneyland.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Facilities have been well kept and staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. The resturaunt was good-we liked the breakfast menu better than the dinner menu, but both were good. The pool and spa were great. Would stay there again.

Overall good experience - posted on 04/06/2007

Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. One word of caution - I requested a cab and a limo service picked me up. Apparently they have a contract with a private limo service. It ended up costing a lot more than a cab. After the first expensive ride with the limo service, I insisted on a cab. They were very insistant on my taking the limo service. I told them it was too expensive.

Great for families - posted on 03/22/2007

This hotel is so close to Disneyland, you can see the parking deck, but too far to walk to the front gate. Free parking and shuttle for $3/person is a nice value, but for a family of 4 it is cheaper to park at Disney. Very clean and nicely decorated - a great surprise. Pool was clean and heated. Front desk staff was VERY young (teenagers) and not very professional, but the rest of the staff was great. Kids eat free in restaurant - food is good. Will definitely stay here again when we go to Disneyland.

Good stay - posted on 03/13/2007

Stayed here with my son for a Disney trip. Great price for the room. The dining was a much welcome break from the theme park food, not to mention my son really was excited over the smiley face the cook made on his pancakes. friendly staff made it all the better. A kind gentleman stopped his sweeping outside to help me carry our bags into the hotel. Little things make you feel more welcome. Just watch the shuttle service. They stop at several hotels before heading to the park... took about 35 minutes half a mile.

Happy staying here - posted on 03/12/2007

Last June my family and I along with extended family went to disneyland for a few days. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean. One morning my family and I had breakfast at the hotel and the main dinning room didnt have enough room so the staff opened up the bar area and set tables up to allow us all to eat together. I will without a doubt stay here again. We never walked to the park we drove to the lot so I am unable to relay any information on that.

The hotel had a friendly and helpfull staff. They surpassed the staff on our cruise. We were at the hotel on two trips and on both visits enjoyed the stay. We had several meals at the restaurant and they were very good.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bar and resturant were fine, the room was fine and clean, the staff was ready to help and they provided shuttle service to and from the trade show. I'll be back.

If you plan on staying here to go to Disneyland, USE a TAXI. We spent $10 (includes tip) each trip for a van for 7 people and you are not at the mercy of the ATA schedule. You can walk but it's tough with kids after a long day at the park.

Clean hotel with a friendly staff. Not far from Disneyland (not walking though). Slept very well (clean air and comfortable beds). My family was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Breakfast was quite good for money. Definitely recommended

Nothing truly stands out here. Do bring your cell phone, you are charged for local calls, and use it to order from one of the many delivery locations, due to the choses from the on site restaruant are limited and not worth the price.

nice family choice for Disneyland - posted on 08/11/2006

One of three Holiday inn properties withinin walking distance of the maingates of Disneyland, this one is the most secluded and quietest. Room was good sized, with good beds, nice bathroom layout, and good A/C. Restaurant had odd hours, but served decent food at fair prices. Staff was very polite and helpful. Would (will!) stay there again.

Beds were comfortable, staff was knowledgable, clean, large enough for 3 people, but lighting in vanity area made it impossible to put on makeup and not look like a clown

A Lot To Be Desired - posted on 08/06/2006

We would not stay here again. We had 2 rooms. Dirty & badly stained carpets, a bottom sheet that was too small for the mattress, toilets that felt like Mr. Toads wild ride - not properly set so they swayed when you sat and I'm petite, toilets that upchucked chewed up toilet paper, really small rooms, no fridge and a lousy shuttle route. It's faster to walk than take the shuttle but at the end of the day more walking is not great.

Great place to stay at Disneyland - posted on 03/10/2006

This hotel is actually adjacent to the Disney property. You can catch the shuttle right at the front door. The rooms are large, clean, have comfortable beds, large bathrooms with seperated sink area. No refrigerator or microwave. Restraunt on premises. Excellent value.

Cost effective, conveniently located hotel - posted on 12/21/2005

Given the cost, this hotel is a very good choice. I was perturbed that the restaurant is so expensive and that the hotel nickels and dimes you often (breakfast, Disneyland shuttle, business center, etc all cost extra). I would not pay full price to stay there. For the price, ALL you get is a bed. Their full price rate is unquestionnably, too high, given the offers of nearby, comparable facilities. At a discounted rate, we would stay again. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, and the staff was uncommonly friendly and helpful.

Had a good time - posted on 12/14/2005

Nice to not be outside walking to my room, made my wife feel safe. Stayed 2 nights, a fridge would have been nice to have. Only big downside is building 3 is 20 feet away from the Disneyland parking structure. We had to listen to the traffic leaving until around 1230 am. Shower pressure was fairly weak, so if you have a lot of hair, my wife wouldn't recommend soaping it up. Other than that, it was great for the price.

Clean and affordable rooms for families - posted on 10/24/2005

Surprisingly very affordable and clean. Hotel was close walking distance to the Mickey&Friends parking structure and catching tram to park. House keeping kept room clean. Didn't try resturant. Location is good for getting other foods choices on Ball avenue. Also location was good to get on/off freeway. Staff was very accommodating. Recommend to families because very affordable and clean.

Great Spot - posted on 10/02/2005

This was a neat and clean hotel close to Disneyland. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Mickey and Friends parking structure tram. The maid was very friendly and did a great job on our room. The front desk staff was also helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are a family going to Disneyland.

Just don't watch TV... - posted on 09/13/2005

We were basically just looking for a place to crash after a day at Disneyland, but the hotel is really nice--probably the best I've seen for the money. Our TV reception was terrrible, but everything else was fantastic: Clean rooms, nice pool, FREE wireless broadband, walking distance to Disneyland (although it would be shorter if Disneyland didn't have that huge wall!)

It was OK. - posted on 09/08/2005

The cowboy theme hotel was ok. The carpet was a little dirty and sticky. I chose this hotel for the free internet access. But my wireless didn't work but I bought a cable to hook it up to the port and it worked for 1 night.

Family stay by Disney land - posted on 08/14/2005

Very close to DL. Nice pool area. Friendly, helpful staff.Adequate rooms, although a mini fridge would have been nice. We were a family of four and spent little time here but I would certainly recommend this place given the price, location and overall comfort.

Nice rooms, poor service - posted on 08/10/2005

Very nice and clean rooms. Extremely slow front desk service (they didn't even answer the phone when I called from my room). Restaurant was great for the kids with the Sponge Bob menu, but for adult dinners was very poor quality. Don't waste $19.95 for the steak!! Yuk!

A Very Good Value - posted on 08/03/2005

Clean and surprisingly quite at night. Bench seating for Disney shuttle is nicely shaded and conveniently located outside the main lobby door. Great view of nightly fireworks from the parking lot. Free meals for kids are a bonus although wait staff could use improvement. A room refrigerator would be nice. The young front desk staff could be more professional; had to wait for attention as they were joking around on day of arrival. Elevator broke down all day once and should be air-conditioned.
