Customer Reviews for The Ayres Hotel Anaheim

small elegance in the city - posted on 02/09/2006

This smallness of this hotel is it's #1 asset. Its located on the outskirts of the Disney area(free shuttle svc), no crazy traffic, freeway on off is easy, on busline, Crystal Palace Church, Old Orange county city nearby, Bus access to beach, "the orange" shopping mall across the street, lush courtyard and pool, Old europe decor, Fodd and the room was great! Staff helpful!

Two day stopover for Disneyland - posted on 12/19/2005

On our way from New Zealand to the UK we stopped with 3 grandchildren under 7 years in the Ayres Hotel and visited Disneyland during the day. We were very impressed with this 3 star hotel. Our two allocated rooms were warm and comfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Well done. This hotel would be our first choice if we come again.

Wonderful stay - posted on 05/07/2005

My family's experience with Ayres was very positive. The room was very relaxing, decorated nicely, ample room for 3 adults and a young child. The art in the common areas was very well done. The ladies and gentleman at the front desk were wonderful.

Wonderful atmosphere - posted on 04/30/2007

We were made to feel at home, and the desk attendant Tony is simply wonderful. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet is delish and is like having breakfast at home. When we return to Anaheim, this will be home again. Thank you! Richard and Carol Wall, NM

I'll Be Back - posted on 03/21/2007

We arrived early in the morning and the staff didn't have a room available for us at that time but they did stow all of our luggage (4 adults and 2 small kids) in their office until we checked in that afternoon. Excellent value for the price, close to DL but still far enough away to miss all of the traffic associated with DL. Great breakfast, super pillows. I'm staying there anytime I go to DL in the future.

My son and I decided to stay there since it was across the street of the Honda Center. The staff was awesome. The room was beautiful and the beds wow awesome. The breakfast was amazing. We had such a great time that we are returning again on the 20th of December for another game. GO DUCKS!!!

This is a beautiful hotel! We loved it. We went to a concert at the Arrowhead Pond and it was so convenient to walk across the street and back! We will stay there again and again.

Home away from home - posted on 07/15/2006

We were so pleased with this hotel from the moment we drove into the parking lot and walked into the lobby. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast amazing! The cleaning staff are meticulous! Other extras that were very convenient included the insite laundry, microwave and refridgerator in rooms, pool and fitness room. We can't say enough about this hotel and the staff - they made our vacation extremely enjoyable!

Enjoyed our stay. - posted on 06/25/2006

Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. Room temperature was very comfortable and easy to manage. Hot breakfast was delicious with several choices. Night service unacceptable. One of the hotel "signs" on a shelf over the toilet fell in our toilet at 1 am after a long day at Disneyland. Night service said they couldn't leave the desk to remove it and gave us gloves to get it out ourselves. We were not happy. Make sure you move that "sign" when you check in. Day staff was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

My Stay at Ayres - posted on 06/18/2006

The hotel itself was great i loved the room and the staff! they helped us so much! The only bad part was the location it was on a corner of a street across from some kind of hockey stadium type of thing (i know i should know what its called but i dont) other than that its great to stay at and I am definitely going back!
