The pet-friendly Renaissance Long Beach comprises 360 rooms designed for the upmarket business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this 12-story, non-smoking hotel are in-room tea and coffee and a morning newspaper. There are 18 rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the Renaissance Ballroom can accommodate 1,200 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach Performing Arts Center, Long Beach Sports Arena, Long Beach World Trade Center, Carnival Cruise Terminal, the Pacific beaches, the Queen Mary, Aquarium of Pacific, Catalina Island, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and Universal Studios.

This is a wonderful expensive hotel with all the bells and whistles you would expect from a Renaissance. Some guests said it was too expensive and too pretentious but the majority said if you can afford it this is THE place to stay in Long Beach. The location is great, in the heart of the entertainment district, and the top notch team of employees provides polite and professional service. Renaissance Long Beach Hotel Accommodations

All the guestrooms and 14 suites have a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, coffee and tea making facilities, Internet browser television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, iron and ironing board, alarm clock, bathrobes and a hairdryer. The bathtubs have spray jets and there is a separate shower.

The on-site La Trattoria is open for breakfast and the Renaissance Bar and Grill is a steakhouse that serves lunch and dinner.
