The 134-room Holiday Inn Long Beach Downtown is just minutes from the Long Beach Convention Center and provides affordable accommodation for both business travelers and the vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this four-story full service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a shuttle to nearby attractions, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 60 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the California beaches, several golf courses, Long Beach Arena, Long Beach Performing Arts Center, Pine Avenue, The Pike, Shoreline Village, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary and Port of Los Angeles.

This hotel may not be in the best location but we give it the YES rating since many guests were pleased with the spacious, clean rooms and courteous and efficient service they received from the team of hard working employees. The hotel does provide a courtesy shuttle within a three-mile radius of the property which enabled clients to reach many nearby attractions. All the rooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and a two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. Connecting rooms, rollaway beds and cribs are available. The suites and executive level rooms have a microwave oven and refrigerator.
