Area landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, Hubbard Park, the Mystic Seaport, Mohegan and Foxwood casinos, Oakdale Theater, Six Flags New England theme park, Lake Compounce and the Wharton Brook State Park. There is one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 15 guests.

This hotel is badly in need of renovations. That is according to many recent guests at this property. However the hotel gets its 50-50 rating because of the super work done by the employees to make the best of things the way they are. Also the location is good and the rates are reasonable considering all the items included in the rate. Once the renovations have been made the 50-50 will be replaced by a positive YES. In the meantime, YES, if you can accept the conditions they way they are with a team of great work but NO if you want the best that Marriott can provide. Read our customer reviews?
