This172-room property is now the Hyatt Place Buckhead. New innovations here include a 42-inch flat panel television in every room and an open lobby with a self-registration kiosk. The hotel is in Buckhead an area noted for fine homes, fine dining and an incredible range of shopping malls and boutiques. The property caters to the upmarket vacationer and business traveler who can handle the 15-minute drive to downtown. Room rates here include a continental breakfast, parking, high speed Internet access in all rooms and an e-room which houses a computer and printer for guests’ use.

New name and new additions earned this property a lot of complements from those who have stayed here. Most said they would stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. Smokers were angered that this is now a 100 percent non-smoking hotel. There were some minor gripes about small bathrooms. But the general consensus was the hotel was affordable and in a superb location - the very upmarket north side of Atlanta. Read our customer reviews?

Amerisuites Atlanta Buckhead Accommodations

The rooms and larger suites all have a cozy corner with a large sofa sleeper that is separated from the main sleeping area. Amenities include: Cable TV and pay-per-view movies, high speed Internet access, refrigerator, microwave oven, IDD telephone, hairdryer and a coffee maker.

The hotel’s Gallery Café is open 24-hours a day and offers premium coffees, beer and wine and a variety of lighter meals to eat there or take away. There is a fitness center and an outdoor heated swimming pool. The front desk can help with laundry and dry cleaning needs and has information on local attractions including several golf course that are within easy driving distance.

From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport: Take I-85 North to GA 400 North (Exit 2/Lenox Road). Turn left and proceed to Piedmont Road, turn left. Then turn right at the second traffic light (Peachtree Road). The hotel is on the right. From downtown Atlanta: Take Peachtree Street North to the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont. The hotel is on the left.
