The 144-roomCourtyard by Marriott Atlanta Airport South provides reasonably priced quality accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is one mile from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and provides a complimentary shuttle. Other items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 25 guests. The property has easy access to Atlanta’s expressway system and the city’s MARTA rapid rail system enabling easy travel to all parts of the city and its suburbs. Nearby landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, Stone Mountain Park, the Georgia Dome, home of the Atlanta Falcons, Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves and Underground Atlanta with its myriad of bars, restaurants and shops.

Guests who stayed at this airport hotel said it had some advantages over its more impressive neighboring full-service hotels. There was no charge for parking or Internet access which were extras elsewhere. The prices here were reasonable and the rooms clean and comfortable. All the rooms, and 12 suites, have a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, coffee and tea making facilities, Internet browser television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer.

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The Courtyard Café is only open for breakfast but there is a 24-hour The Market on-site with a full range of snacks and beverages. Restaurants nearby include Ruby Tuesdays, Waffle House, Joe’s on Sullivan, Red Lobster and an Outback Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, full service business center, valet dry-cleaning and vending machines.
