Area landmarks and attractions include Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, the Discovery Center hands-on science center, Fantastic Caverns drive-through cave tour, the Dickerson Park Zoo, the Springfield Art Museum, the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, the Jordan Valley Ice Park and shopping at the Battlefield Mall.

This Quality Inn sneaks in with a YES rating thanks to its low rates and the good work done by a determined team of employees working under difficult circumstances. Many guests who stayed here with disappointed with the small, dark rooms and mattresses in need of replacing.
