Proximity to the major sights, such as Bellagio Conservatory and Fountains, Fashion Show Mall, Adventuredome, Las Vegas Convention Center, The Stratosphere, Downtown Las Vegas, Las Vegas Natural History Museum and Zoological & Botanical Park is a big plus. The hotel in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino complex is a 10-minute drive from the McCarran International Airport. Guests can access the Mandalay Bay Events Center, Shark Reef, tropical water complex, which has pools, an artificial beach and a lazy river, and a casino of the resort. The golf lovers can play in the South Seas-themed Bali Hai Golf Club located within easy walking distance.

This multi-storied plush hotel is quite pricey. Many guests enjoyed their stay at the hotel. They liked spacious elegantly- appointed accommodations, pool area, polite and warm staff, bathrooms, casino, spa, gym and views of the Strip. However, some visitors were disappointed with poor sound insulation, mal-functioning in-room amenities, sub par service, overpriced food, drinks and Internet, and the gym fee.
