This downtown area is full of fun for families, including the Fulton Street area, Chinatown, and shipboard museums. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are only a ferry ride away, and Ground Zero is within walking distance. Check out the Guggenheim or Vietnam Veteran's Memorial while taking in the sights. The Best Western Seaport Inn offers guests free deluxe continental breakfast, a fitness center, business services, and 25-guest meeting room. Business guests will like the proximity to the Wall Street area, Federal Reserve Building, and many corporate centers. As always, a child under 12 stays free with one paying adult in existing bedding.

This is a very nice hotel in a pleasant area. It's clean, and the prices are reasonable. The downtown area may not be as easy to navigate on the subway system, but it's one of the quieter sections to reside in. Stay in this area if you don't mind walking and taking in the sights far away from the crowds of Midtown. Downtown has fantastic food with its proximity to Chinatown and Little Italy, and there's a lot of sophisticated shopping and amusement in Soho and Tribeca. The Best Western Seaport Inn Downtown will be one block on the right. From: South. Take the NJ Turnpike, Interstate 495, take either Holland Tunnel or Lincoln Tunnel. Once through the tunnel follow the signs for the West Side Highway (South). Take the West Side Highway (South) to Battery Park. Follow signs to FDR drive north, exit under the underpass and take the 1st exit to South Street Seaport. After Passing Pier 17, turn left at Peck Slip. The Best Western Seaport Inn Downtown one block on right. From: New England. Take Interstate 95 South and Interstate 87, follow the signs for the Tri-Bourough Bridge to Manhattan. Access the FDR Drive (South). Follow the FDR Drive South to Exit 3- South Street. Follow South Street. Pass under the Brooklyn Bridge and make a right on to Peck Slip. The Best Western Seaport Inn Downtown will be one block on the right.
