The Travel Inn is a boutique hotel located near Jacob Javits Center and Times Square. Close to theaters, shopping and business, it's a great location for travelers who want to be in the middle of it all. Its 42nd Street address puts it near several subway and bus lines, along with easy access from the West Side Highway. Nearby major transportation hubs include Port Authority Bus Terminal, Penn Station and Grand Central Station. Culture enthusiasts are close to Central Park, the New York Public Library and other attractions. For business travelers, there are many corporate offices nearby; Wall St. is just a subway ride away. This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but there's hardly a need for one, considering the area. Take advantage of the large indoor pool, fitness center and the only free parking available at any New York City hotel.

This hotel is a great find in midtown Manhattan. Most noted that they loved the secure, locked, free parking. Others noted that the Travel Inn was very comfortable and staffed with helpful, professional people. This was noted as a good pick for those with children of all ages, but not such a great find for honeymooners (while a nice hotel, the Travel Inn is very traditional - not quite the dazzling wedding stay).
