About the Courtyard by Marriott Times Square South

This hotel is located right in the center of the action. You are right in the middle of the Fashion district and Times Square. Clean standard rooms await you, many of them with great views and various amenities. The staff is courteous and helpful and you get all the benefits of staying in a well known chain like the Marriott.
If you love the outdoors there are biking and jogging trails nearby, as well as squash and tennis courts. The kids can go ice skating in Central Park or visit the nearby zoo.
Prefer to get your exercise inside? The gym is equipped with basic cardiovascular and weight equipment.
Although there is only one restaurant on site, this is New York City. Walk a block in almost any direction and you will stumble upon fabulous food and shopping.
This hotel is all about location. The comfort level isn't bad either. The beds are soft and the bathrooms are just roomy enough. But the prime reason to stay here is that you are just blocks away from almost everything you could possibly want to see in Manhattan on a short trip.

We recommend this hotel to business travelers, tourists and families . This is not a hotel for a romantic getaway. It is functional and efficient and near the action. If you plan on staying in your room all day or prefer to dine in for all of your meals, you may want to choose some place else.
You are paying to be this close to all of what New York has to offer. The rooms are clean and orderly but the reason to stay at this hotel is the amount of things that you can do and see within a few short blocks. Go see a show, try a dazzling new restaurant, and expand your mind with some of New York's finest museums. What you will save in cab fare by staying here is worth the price of the room. The rooms are a fairly good size with clean standard bathrooms. Each room has tons of amenities like: alarm clock, coffee maker,iron and ironing board, luxury bedding, pull out sofas, hair dryer, television with several cable stations, cd player, wet bar and refrigerator.

Just a few of the amenities you will enjoy are a cordless phone, speaker phone, coffee in the lobby, newspaper delivered to your room, concierge, daily housekeeping, laundry on site, safety deposit box and valet dry cleaning, and vending machines. There is also a basic on site gym and restaurant.
Having a larger event? Event planners are ready to help you book business meetings or even to plan a wedding. High Speed Internet access is provided for business meetings and functions.
Everything else can be found within blocks of the hotel's front door. Shop, visit museums, dine in magnificent restaurants or just stroll down Manhattan's busy street, as you people watch.
