Days Inn New York City is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This posh, upscale section of town is loaded with shopping, museums, restaurants and things to do. Enjoy the Metropolitan Museum of Arts and Museum of Natural History on Museum Mile across town. The hotel is a short walk from scenic Central Park, which has the famous Central Park Zoo and several musical attractions year-round. For those who wish to amuse themselves nearer to home base, there's a workout room and several eateries nearby. Remember, many of them deliver, so it's almost like getting room service. Close by are trains that run on an express schedule, so downtown is only a short subway trip away.

This hotel is a good bet for travelers who are looking to lay their heads down in a clean place. Being that it's near Columbia University, there are a lot of young people. This Days Inn location has 265 rooms, and is marked as one of the chain's "Business Place" locations. This hotel has enclosed hallways and is very secure. There's no parking on premises, but guests can use any one of several lots nearby with a discounted rate. There are no pets allowed. There is also a business center with office services.

This hotel doesn't offer a huge array of amenities. Each room has free wireless Internet service, a phone with data port and voicemail, an iron and ironing board, and refrigerator upon request.
