City Club Hotel in New York City New York

Would not recommend this hotel - posted on 05/30/2006

Package was to have included breakfast. Ended up having to call *** in order to get breakfast at the hotel. According to hotel management, *** packages don't include this even though it was specifically listed on the website. Paid for a Deluxe Queen room. Received a double room with a view of a brick wall. Also was billed by the hotel for the stay which was already paid for through ***.
Needs Improvement: Did not receive what I paid for.

Hard to find consistant quality in NYC. Even the best places get run-down. The City Club was a great suprise-small room, yes, but a big bathroom, very efficient room. Air/heat worked great, best bed in the world. Very nice staff. Great location on "club row".

I was sceptical of the quality of the hotel but wow was i pleased!! very comfy, very helpful staff, super clean room & bath, perfect location, unbelievable sound syst. in room. Great price

We stayed over Labor Day and had read an article about the Hotel which suggested asking for an end corner room as they were quiet & larger w/ a shower & tub. We did and it was great. The King bed was sooo comfortable and the quiet promoted late afternoon naps.The staff was super friendly and passes to a gym 2 doors down were complimentary. Great location too.
