The 163-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Columbus provides newly renovated accommodation at an economical price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is close to Ohio State University and the Columbus Convention Center. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet with the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel can accommodate meetings for 60 guests in the Harold Zeig room and smaller groups in J. Edward Weaver conference room.

All the guestrooms have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, coffee and tea making facilities, 32-inch flat screen television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer. Some of the rooms have the added benefit of a mini-refrigerator and microwave oven.

This inn has an indoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The nearby Damon’s Grill provides room service from 11am until 10pm. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area attractions. From Columbus Airport (CMH) 15 miles: Drive to I-670 west. Continue to exit for State Route 315 north. Travel SR 315 north to Ackerman Road. Turn right off exit to Olentangy River Road. Turn left on Olentangy River Road. Proceed 1/4 mile to the hotel. The hotel is located between Ackerman Road and North Broadway on the left hand side.
