Totally Pleased! - posted on 05/07/2007
The room was very nice and spacious, with all the amenities you could want. The pool was small but nice, and the hot tub was great. The breakfast was really nice, but it was standing room only 10 minutes before it was closed. $- for parking seemed a bit steep, and next time I'll try to park along the street at a meter (non-metered on weekends). Overall a wonderful visit, and we plan to stay there any time we go to Pittsburgh.

Great hotel! Breakfast is nice and the room was very clean. There was a small miscommunication with one of the staff members but mgt took care of very quick.

The location of the hotel was perfect. We were there for a Pirates game. The room was clean and well maintained. The adjoining restaurant had great food. The staff was great, ready to help and offer suggestions. We already booked again.

What a great hotel. Location is great and the employees are even better. Forgot my tie and one of the employees lent me his so I could go to my meeting. Breakfast better than most. Liked the bigger room.

We stayed here for a Steeler game. You can walk to the stadium. There is a free shuttle to take you within 3 miles, so we went to station square. The rooms are nice, good free breakfast, and courteous staff. We will return!

Will definitely stay here again. We stayed for a Pirates/Brewers game at PNC. A great location and friendly staff. Rooms extremely clean. I felt at home! Great breakfast prior to leaving the next morning.

This was a very well-appointed room for the price. Everything in the room was very convenient and clean. The bed linens were especially pleasing to my wife, who appreciated the extra sheets to eliminate the "dirty" comforter that one typically finds in a hotel room. The staff was friendly and the breakfast "buffet" was well stocked and attended. The "buffet" was more of a "bar" and, as expected, was a little bit of a free-for-all, especially with unattended kids fingering all the food (but that's a parental issue - - not a hotel issue).
Nice but not really suites - posted on 12/19/2005
The hotel was very nice - decor was very nice. Kids had fun in the pool (although small). Complimentary breakfast was quite good. Important to realize that the rooms are not really suites (not 2 separate rooms).

We stayed for a Steelers game and had a great time. The location is perfect. Rooms were big and comfortable and breakfast was pretty good. We will most definitely stay here again.

This was the cleanest hotel I have seen. Staff was friendly, whirlpool and pool were clean and supervised, and breakfast was delicious. Great location to PNC Park and Heinz Field.

I stayed at the hotel for pleasure with elderly mother and two young children. The hotel transportation was very convenient and the staff was very helpful in all areas. The breakfast was very good quality and had some variety over the three mornings we ate breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were excellent. The only thing that we had a problem with was some discourteous staff. The shuttle driver openly complained at length about his boss in front of our family, and the staff stocking the breakfast buffet were very rude and slow, but the food was excellent when it was there. Would recommend.
Great new North Shore Hotel - posted on 04/06/2005
Perfect location, across from PNC Park. Hotel is brand new. Staff was extremely pleasant and excited about hotel. Suites were spacious and nice. The place was spotless, I very well could have been first guest. Biggest complaint is noise from I-279. Free Ethernet internet connection. Great shower water pressure, not enough towels. Parking, expensive, you?re trapped, was able to park at hotel for baseball game though. No business center, but free printer in lobby as well as wifi in lobby. Bed had nice thick sheets. Pleasant stay?definitely will be back.
