The 150-room Comfort Inn Landmark is close to George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate and gardens and provides economically priced accommodation ideal for family visiting the nation’s capital and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate are a breakfast in the adjoining IHOP, a shuttle to the nearby Van Dorn Metrorail station, high-speed Internet access, in-room coffee and free local telephone calls. The hotel has good access to I-395 making it an easy drive to Washington DC. Area landmarks and attractions include the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Fort Belvoir Army Base, the National Gallery of Art, the Washington National Cathedral, the National Zoo, Smithsonian Institution, the Library of Congress and shopping at the Landmark Mall which is one mile from the hotel.

Most guests who stayed at this Comfort Inn were happy with their choice of hotels. The prices are reasonable and the rooms well equipped. Some travelers complained that the service was not the best while others said they were not expecting a five star hotel since they were not paying high prices. Many clients enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the on-site IHOP and said they would return to this hotel they next time they wanted to see the sights in the nation’s capital.
