The pet-friendly 299 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Pentagon City adjoins a vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment complex and provides quality accommodation for the long or short stay business or leisure traveler. The 17-story, non-smoking property has suites that have full kitchens and separate sleeping, living and dining areas. Items included in the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, dinner and drinks at a manager’s reception on Monday through Thursday evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are eight meeting rooms for business or social events. The largest, the Pentagon Ballroom, can accommodate 150 guests. The inn is just minutes from the Pentagon, and other landmarks and attractions within an easy commute include the Arlington National Cemetery, the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, the Smithsonian Museums, Iwo Jima Memorial and the National Zoo.

All of the suites have a kitchen with conventional oven and microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.

This inn has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. The only meals served here are breakfast and the mid week light dinners at the manager’s reception. The inn offers a grocery shopping service and can arrange for area restaurants to deliver to the inn. There are several places to eat nearby including Café Italia, Ruby Tuesdays, Chevy’s and a California Pizza Kitchen. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) 2 miles: Exit the airport following signs towards Route 1 North/Crystal City. Follow Route 1 North towards Washington for 1/2 mile staying in the right lane. Exit at 15th Street South towards Pentagon City. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto 15th Street. Follow for two blocks. At the light, turn right onto South Fern Street. The Residence Inn is located on the right at the corner of Army Navy Drive.
