The Howard Johnson Oceanfront Hotel is a great option for beach lovers. As soon as you open the door to your room you will be struck by the stunning ocean view and miles of sandy beach. Hang out in the bar or lounge while you await your fishing excursion or enjoy a nightcap after a fun filled day in Virginia Beach. Walking distance to all amusements this hotel is at the center of the action. Every room has a balcony and with an ocean side room you can spend hours relaxing to the sound of the ocean and feeling the cool ocean breeze. You can also enjoy the indoor facilities like the indoor pool and hot tub and in room movies with the provided satellite TV’s in every room.

Each of the 107 rooms has a private balcony to enjoy the amazing views. You can choose between standard rooms with 2 queens or a king size bed. BONUS: Standard rooms come with microwave, fridge, satellite TV. Deluxe rooms offer Jacuzzi suites with king or queens and one or two private balconies. Some suites have private bedrooms and pull out sofas. BONUS: Free movie channels, free internet access, in-room coffee, and iron/ironing board.

Amenities offered

Great spot for hosting conventions or fun family vacations. The meeting rooms can accommodate most meeting arrangements with some catering available. There is an in-house restaurant called '18th St. Cafe and Grill’ offering service from breakfast to dinner and a beautiful view of the ocean. You will also enjoy the Peppermint Beach Club lounge for appetizers and cocktails. The heated pool and hot tub is open year round and a great place for the whole family to relax.
